A Classic Winter Wedding at Linwood Estate.

Words can’t describe how excited I was to arrive at Linwood Estate. It’s a stunning, classic venue tucked back in the rolling hills of Carlisle, Pennsylvania. When Nathan and Cassie told me that’s where they chose to get married I couldn’t help my excitment! Photographing a wedding at Linwood Estate has truly been a dream of mine, and I wouldn’t have had it any other way standing alongside Nathan and Cassie on their day. 

I’ve known Nathan since I was little, he’s my brothers best friend. It’s such an honor to be a part of weddings but it truly soaks in when you get to be the photographer at a childhood friends. The memories pour in as I help document new memories, their beautiful wedding day at Linwood Estate. It’s funny because when you get married in December you just assume, cold. But the sun did something magical that day and the weather during portraits and their perfect first look (I mean did you see their genuine reaction to seeing each other?) Melts my heart. The weather became cooler in the evening just as it was in time for their ceremony and the rest of the celebration.

So many emotions in one day, seeing a childhood friend celebrate alongside his family and friends. Lots of hugs, tears and moments throughout the day that have me smiling back. Linwood Estate was absolutely beautiful in the winter, I can’t wait to return back in the Summer one day!
