The Rail Park Philadelphia Engagement Session | Katrina + Josiah

Katrina and Josiah inquired earlier 2020 and their email told me all about their wedding at Location 215 downtown Philadelphia that's going to be filled with all the tropical colors and palms. My heart skipped A BEAT. If you know me you know I'm a sucker for colorful (hello my photography is all colorful).

We met for beer at Love City Brewing Company to get to know each other in person first. That's super important to me! Getting to vibe before putting you in front of the camera and having a few drinks also helps! Katrina and Josiah are just down right awesome and we had the best time at Love city brewing hanging out and snapping some photos. What's perfect about this is that it's them, nothing staged, posed, it's what a typical date night in their favorite area of the city looks like. Walking around Callowhill Philadelphia, grabbing a beer and a bite and then seeing some of their favorite murals by Jessie and Katey which inspired their wedding day vibes at Location 215.

After the brewing company we went downtown to see the INCREDIBLE colorful mural by Jessie and Katey in person and I was SCREAMING. It's incredibly high and honestly pure perfection. I loved getting to photograph these two in their favorite city in front of their favorite mural, and I can't wait to do it on their wedding day again!

We ended at The Rail Park. I've heard about this place, but Katrina and Josiah find themselves here all the time. Being a plant person herself, it was the perfect spot to end the session with some more beers and of course kisses!
