Hawk Mountain Sanctuary Engagement | Ashley & Ronnie

I truly couldn’t imagine a more perfect place than Hawk Mountain Sanctuary for Ashley and Ronnie’s Engagement photo’s. Hawk Mountain is tucked up in the rolling hills of Kempton, Pennsylvania and it truly is a hidden gem among the mountains. It’s the perfect little hike for the most gorgeous sunset overlooking Hawk mountain and the rolling hills.

Ten seconds into meeting Ashley and Ronnie for the first time, Ashley and I found ourselves looking for the perfect tree to hide behind to use the bathroom - crazy, huh? But we’ve bonded over emails, texts and phone calls so we were already connected and were definitely adventurous souls at heart. Then we started the trek up the mountain within 10 seconds you see the most beautiful view. It’s almost crazy to think that we have these beautiful mountain views tucked in Pennsylvania. It’s just about taking a second to find these hidden gems and Hawk mountain Sanctuary is one of them!

We hiked the trail to the top, the gorgeous vista and sunset could not have been more perfect. Ashley and Ronnie are two souls I’d consider friends, we’re just kindred spirits. We talked about the wedding, life, hiking and our desire to adventure.. And these two opened up and felt comfortable in front of the camera and I took some of my favorite images yet simply because they trusted me and just went with it!
